Dangote Reaffirms Customer Focus at NASCON Awards Night in Abuja

President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has reiterated the company’s commitment to putting customers at the centre of its operations, describing service excellence as a core driver of long term growth.

He spoke in Abuja during the 2025 Customers Dinner and Awards organised by NASCON Allied Industries Plc, where 50 top customers were recognised for their contribution to the company’s performance.

Dangote said honouring customers goes beyond relationship management and reflects sound business strategy.

According to him, consistent investment in brand strength, supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and digital tools will only deliver value when aligned with customer expectations. He added that feedback from partners remains essential to shaping future decisions.

Chairman of NASCON and Group Vice President at Dangote Group, Olakunle Alake, noted that as a publicly quoted firm, accountability extends to shareholders and regulators, but market confidence ultimately depends on customer trust in the brand.

From the board’s standpoint, he described customer service as both a guiding principle and a competitive advantage.

The News Chronicle gathered that the event was also positioned as a celebration of long-standing partnerships, with executives emphasising that sustained growth cannot be achieved in isolation.

Group Executive Director of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, Fatima Aliko Dangote, thanked customers for their loyalty and pledged continued focus on quality and service delivery.
