Cryptocurrency Exchange OKX to End Services in Nigeria

—

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced it will stop providing services in Nigeria due to recent changes in local laws and regulations.
Starting August 16, 2024, customers will no longer be able to open new positions or access any services other than withdrawals and closing or redeeming open positions.
OKX has informed its users about this change through a direct statement. The company urges users to review their accounts and withdraw their assets.
Users must withdraw their assets by 12:00 am (PST) on August 30, 2024. After this date, any actions related to accounts will require contacting customer service.
OKX assures its users that their funds are secure and accessible until the specified deadlines.
After August 30, remaining balances may face further restrictions based on the Terms of Service and local laws.
