According to a report by the Daily Independent, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) on Tuesday, advised Igbos living in the north eastern part of the country to come home or they will be are staying at their own risk. This is coming on the heels of increased violent attacks of the Islamic fundamentalist, Boko Haram in the North East zone of the county.
Sounding the note of warning in Onitsha, Anambra State, MASSOB National Red Cross Chairman, Osondu Okwaraeke, recalled prior to the peak of the mass killings by the Boko Haram sect, the MASSOB leader, Ralph Uwazuruike, had urged Igbo residents in the volatile area of Northern Nigeria to return home. Uwazuruike also went further to provide logistics to them for easy evacuation.
