Chima Udoye has won the 9th season of the reality TV singing competition, Nigerian Idol.
He won on Sunday after competing for months with some of Nigeria’s best singers.
The grand finale started with all 10 contestants singing John Legend’s “Glory.” Past winners, Progress and Victory Gbakara, made special appearances.
The audience enjoyed performances by Simi and Chike before the top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, gave their final performances.

Chima won N30 million in cash, a music deal with a music video, a DSTV Explora with a one-year premium subscription, and a brand new SUV.
