Chelsea new signing Romeo Lavia set to face a lengthy spell out injured

Chelsea new midfielder Romeo Lavia who joined the club from Southampton this season could be set to face a lengthy spell out injured. Although the club is yet to make an official announcement in regards to the development. 

Lavia who is yet to make any appearance since joining Chelsea in a deal worth £58m sustained the injury today during the clubs training session.

According to Fabrizio Romano, muscle tear around the ankle is suspected as reported by the team’s doctors. The club will await the outcome of the scan to ascertain the level of the injury.

Romeo and Caicedo both rejected Liverpool to seal their move to Chelsea this summer.
