Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka To Join Cristiano Ronaldo At Al-Nassr

—

According to a recent report, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are planning a surprise double swoop to recruit Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.

According to The Daily Mail, Al-Nassr is interested in recruiting Casemiro and Wan-Bissaka from United. John Murtough, the football director, is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia to investigate the feasibility of signing players from Pro League teams.

Following the rejection of a £20 million ($25.4 million) approach for Tottenham right-back Emerson Royal, Ronaldo and company are reportedly prepared to make a substantial offer to the Brazilian, who earns around £375,000 per week. They are also prepared to make a move for Wan-Bissaka this month.

In each scenario, United would like a fee and a portion of the £70 million ($88.8 million) they paid for Casemiro.

Wan-Bissaka has seen negotiations for a new contract fall through, therefore he might be open to moving to the Middle East. Ronaldo is rumored to have urged his team to seek the former Real Madrid star.

Casemiro has a contract with United that runs until 2026, although he hasn’t played for the team since suffering a hamstring injury in November. Since coming to the Red Devils from the capital of Spain in 2022, he has appeared in 63 games.

United may sell Casemiro and Wan-Bissaka, but it’s unclear if a deal will be reached in January. This weekend, they will play League Two Newport County in the FA Cup.
