Carlos Ancelotti compares Jude Bellingham to Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid manager Carlos Ancelotti has compared English midfielder Jude Bellingham to one of the greatest players to ever kick the round object, Zinedine Zidane, in his interview before Madrid’s game against Granada tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Who does Bellingham remind you of? “He is a spectacular player. It’s fantastic and we are delighted with it. He is highly respected on the team, not so much for the goals, but for the work he is capable of doing. I never saw Di Stéfano play, and I already made the comparison between Zidane and Bellingham in the last press conference. I am surprised by him, as I was surprised when I first saw Kaká. We have never asked him to score goals. He is scoring because he has this fantastic ability to reach the opponent’s area at the right time. He has to continue like this. There will come a time when he is not going to score goals, but everyone has respect for him.”

Furthermore, the Italian manager rebuffed injury claims against Jude, he admitted to being tired but will be available tomorrow against Granada

“Bellingham is here to play. He doesn’t have any problems. He is a little tired and has had a little discomfort in his ankle. “We preferred to avoid contact so that it doesn’t get worse, but tomorrow he will be fine and will play the game.”

Jude, who was nominated player of the game against Napoli during their 5th Champions League group game, becomes Real Madrid’s first player to score in four consecutive UCL games.

Bellingham, 20, joined Los Blancos this summer from Borussia Dortmund. In his 16 appearances so far, Jude has scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists for Real Madrid.
