CAN urges FG to send security agents to troubled areas in Taraba

Taraba

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Taraba State is worried about the violence happening in some parts of the state.

They want the government to send police and soldiers to these areas quickly. This is because some people have been killed, and it’s making everyone scared.

CAN said this in a statement on Thursday in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State. They are sad about what’s happening on the road between Marraraba and Donga.

Almost every day, dead bodies are found there. It’s so bad that some parents only find out about their children’s deaths on social media.

The CAN chairman in Taraba State, Rev. (Dr.) Isaiah Magaji Jirapye, signed the statement.

He said it’s very worrying that young men are being killed, and no one knows who is doing it.

CAN wants the government to send police and soldiers to these areas quickly before things get worse.

They’re worried that people might start fighting back because their loved ones are being killed.

They also want the traditional leaders in those areas to help the government and the police find the people who are doing these bad things.

Because it’s almost time for farming, CAN wants the fighting to stop. They say if people keep fighting, it will be hard for everyone to get food. So, they’re asking everyone to stop fighting and let farmers go to their farms.

CAN is also telling young people in Taraba State to talk to each other and solve their problems without fighting. They think talking is better than fighting.
