Camavinga Says Sorry as Red Card Costs Real Madrid in Bayern Clash

Eduardo Camavinga has apologized to Real Madrid supporters after his late red card proved decisive in their Champions League exit against Bayern Munich.

Madrid were eliminated after a thrilling evening at the Allianz Arena, falling 4-3 in the second leg and 6-4 overall. The game swung in the dying minutes when Camavinga was dismissed, thus opening his team at a key point.

Bayern grabbed control with the numeric lead and struck twice late on through Luis Díaz and Michael Olise to lock in advancement. Many noted the loss of discipline as a major cause for Madrid’s fall and criticized the dismissal rapidly.

Since accepting responsibility, Camavinga has issued a public apology to fans and teammates, admitting his role in the result.

However, Manager Álvaro Arbeloa questioned the referee’s judgment, implying the second booking was severe and could have been impacted by Bayern players.

Attention next turns back to domestic rivalry, where Madrid lags behind FC Barcelona in the La Liga title chase. As the team tries to recover from a terrible European exit, the midfielder is expected to bounce back.
