Nigerian artist and songwriter Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel better known as Mayorkun did not have the best experience in calabar.
The artist was invited as part of the performing artist in the ongoing calabar carnival. However he got more love than intended as he was robbed of valuables worth millions.
The artist has taken to social media to express his grievances while advising other artists who have intentions of visiting the city.
Iyanya, a friend and fellow artist who is also an indigene of Calabar has shared his displeasure and disappointment following the incident. And has promised to compensate anyone who returns the stolen property.
One among the items stolen is Mayorkuns Gold chain which is rumored to cost millions of dollars.
It seems there is no coming back to calabar for the Mayor of Lagos.
