Bwala is not associated with me as an aide – Atiku

—

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar wants everyone to understand that Daniel Bwala, who used to speak for his campaign, is no longer working with him.

Atiku made it very clear that there is no ongoing association between him and Daniel Bwala, who previously represented him during his campaign activities.

Atiku’s office said Bwala only worked for him during his campaign from 2022 to early 2023. Atiku wants everyone to know that Bwala wasn’t his assistant outside of this job.

The office said, “It’s important to get it right that Mr. Daniel Bwala wasn’t an aide to Atiku Abubakar. He helped as a spokesperson during the presidential campaign.”

“It is important that the media and the general public take corrective note of defining Mr. Daniel Bwala as an aide to His Excellency Atiku Abubakar.”

“Bwala offered his services and support to the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization as a spokesperson – and it was a position he held during the last presidential campaign.”

Bwala said he wanted to work with the Tinubu government and met the President in Paris, France. After the meeting, Bwala shared a hopeful message from Tinubu.

On X platform, Bwala wrote: “I met with the father of the nation, @officialABAT President Bola Tinubu, in Paris today. He keeps sharing his ideas and showing his desire to lead Nigeria well.”

This was Bwala’s second meeting with the President, as he had met him before at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

After receiving a significant response, Bwala mentioned that he informed Atiku about his decision before meeting the President.
