Burna Boy Accused of Involvement in Speed Darlington’s Arrest

—

Popular content creator and musician Speed Darlington has been missing for three days, according to reports.

In a video shared on social media, Speed Darlington’s mother claimed that her son was arrested by Burna Boy after he posted a video making fun of the Grammy-winning artist.

On October 8, 2024, news began spreading online about Darlington’s disappearance. It’s reported that he was arrested at his home three days earlier.

In the video, Darlington’s mother said she just found out her son was missing after he released a video mocking Nigerian music star Burna Boy.

In the video that sparked controversy, Speed Darlington joked about Burna Boy’s connection to American rapper P. Diddy, who was recently arrested by the FBI on charges related to sexual exploitation, human trafficking, and slavery.

Darlington questioned how Burna Boy won his Grammy award for Twice As Tall, which Diddy helped produce. This comment added to the wave of online criticism aimed at Burna Boy since Diddy’s arrest, with some even speculating about a questionable relationship between the two.

In a heartfelt appeal, Speed Darlington’s mother begged Burna Boy to show mercy and release her son from detention. She said she lives outside Nigeria and fears for her son’s well-being, asking for help from concerned Nigerians.
