Bruno Fernandes’ Brace Rescues a Point for Manchester United against Resilient Bournemouth

Bruno Fernandes’ two goals earned Manchester United a point against the resilient Bournemouth side.

Despite their efforts, Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Dominic Solanke’s solo goal gave Bournemouth an early 1-0 lead, (his 17 in the league) followed by Bruno Fernandes equalizing for Manchester United in the 31st minute. Justin Kluivert then scored for Bournemouth, putting them ahead 2-1 at halftime.

Despite Manchester United’s reduced possession, they had controlled since the first half, they leveled the score at 2-2 with a penalty converted by Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United stays in seventh place, while Bournemouth moved up to 12th with 41 points in the Premier League table as the league draws closer to the end.
