British-Nigerian Influencer Dies After Penis Enlargement Procedure in Thailand

British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died following complications from a penis enlargement procedure he underwent during a luxury trip to Thailand with his wife.
Ubiribo, 43, reportedly underwent the cosmetic procedure at a clinic in Bangkok in March, where 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis, according to proceedings at Inner West London Coroners’ Court.
Following the procedure, Ubiribo and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, reportedly went for a massage. During the outing, he complained of chest pain and collapsed twice.
He was subsequently rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital in Bangkok, where doctors reportedly diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism, a potentially life-threatening condition in which a blood clot blocks an artery in the lungs.
Medical personnel reportedly performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to revive him. However, Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6.
A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom reportedly found cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the cosmetic procedure.
Following the inquest, Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by complications arising from the cosmetic procedure.
Ubiribo, who had approximately 185,000 followers on Instagram, was known for showcasing a lavish lifestyle and luxury experiences on social media.
His death attracted significant attention, particularly because of the circumstances surrounding the procedure and his subsequent medical complications.
He was later buried in London in a reported $745,000 gold coffin. Several prominent Nigerian celebrities, including music star Davido and socialite Cubana Chief Priest, reportedly attended his funeral.
