The Nigerian Air Force has successfully taken out the most famous leader of a group of criminals in Zamfara, Kachallah Damina, along with many of his followers in the state.
This successful air attack happened after getting information that lots of criminals were trying to attack Corner Village in Bungudu Local Government Area on March 10, 2024.
Damina, who was already hurt from fights with troops of Operation Hadarin Dajia in Dansadau, was killed along with many criminals riding motorcycles.
Good sources told Zagazola Makama that out of the 58 motorcycles carrying criminals and heading for a mission, only 11 criminals returned, and many of them were alone.
“More than 50 criminals were killed, and many motorcycles were destroyed. This attack was one of the biggest and most damaging against the criminal groups in this area recently.
“The armed forces are searching for important terrorist leaders and fighting them wherever they are hiding,” the sources said.
Damina was from Kankara Local Government Area in Zamfara State and caused a lot of trouble in Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara states.
He was known for being very cruel and for doing terrible attacks and killings.
He had a big camp in the Magami forest in a place called Kango under the command of Buhari Daji and Nagala.
