President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential shadow election after securing a total of 10,999,162 votes.
His challenger, Osifo, garnered 60,563 votes in the exercise, according to the results announced after the nationwide shadow election collation held in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday.
Declaring the outcome, former Senate President, Pius Anyim, who chaired the seven-member Presidential Primary Election Committee, confirmed Tinubu as the winner of the exercise.
The shadow election, conducted across the country, saw Tinubu secure an overwhelming majority of votes, further strengthening his position within the ruling APC ahead of future political contests.
