Security Operatives Kill One During Protest in Mairua, Katsina State
Security forces have reportedly shot and killed a young man during a protest in Mairua, located in the Funtua area of Katsina State.
Residents took to the streets today to protest the rising insecurity in their community. As part of the demonstration, they blocked the Gusau-Funtua road to draw attention to their concerns.
However, tensions escalated during the protest, and it is alleged that security operatives opened fire, resulting in the death of one protester.
