According to reports, several villagers have lost their lives with many others said to have sustained varying degrees of injuries after suspected herdsmen launched an attack on Ugbobi community in Apa LGA of Benue State In the early hours of Thursday, March 21
Residents have reportedly fled their homes, leaving the attackers to raze their houses and loot food items.
According to a native of the community, Eric Amodu, decried that the attack has been on for more than two hours now without any security operatives coming to combat the armed men.
“It’s been 2 hours since this morning attack began and still no security forces has made any effort. Obvious conspiracy.” He added,
