Protesters have once again blocked and set fire to the main road connecting Funtua and Malumfashi local government areas in Katsina State.
The demonstration, which occurred this evening, was triggered by fresh bandit attacks on northern Bakori communities, including Guga, Kakumi, and Kandarawa.
As a result of the road closure, hundreds of vehicles are stranded, causing significant disruption to traffic and local residents. The protesters are demanding urgent action from the government to address the ongoing insecurity in the region.
