Sylvanus Namang, the publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, got shot and killed in Pankshin town, which is part of Pankshin Local Government Area of the state.
Someone from the APC, who didn’t want their name shared, told Reporters about what happened. They said Namang got hurt really bad during the attack and later died.
The person also said Namang was a good friend and worked hard for the APC, especially in the Local Government areas and the state. He said the party would say more about what happened to him later.
Namang was shot outside the place where he was staying, probably a hotel, by some gunmen who started shooting at him around 7:30 in the morning.
Reports say Namang left his home on Saturday to go to a funeral in Pankshin, where he got killed without warning.
