Report coming in has it that the organized labour consisting of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has issued a 14-day nationwide strike notice to the Federal Government.
According to the Congresses, the strike takes effect as tomorrow, February 9 February 2024. it was gathered that unions accused the Federal Government of its failure to implement the agreement reached in October, last. year.
This development is coming days after residents of Kano, Niger and some parts of the country took to the streets to protest rising economic hardship across the country.
