Breaking News: Court of Appeal nullifies Adeleke’s Victory

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Thursday nullified the victory of Ademola Adeleke in the Osun State governorship election petition tribunal.

This is coming after the appeal filed by the governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola, challenging the declaration of Adeleke as the duly elected governor of the state by the Tribunal.

According to reports just reaching The News Chronicle, the five-man panel led by Justice Jummai Sankey, at the Court of Appeal upheld the appeal filed by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State challenging the verdict of the tribunal and affirmed him as duly elected.

The three other judges in agreement with the lead judgement read by Jummai Sankey are Abubakar Yahaya, Isaiah Akeju, and Bitrus Sanga.
