Reports coming in have that armed policemen have apprehended the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Barrister Julius Abure, on Wednesday 21 February 2024.
It was reported that Abure faces allegations of embezzling about N3billion of party funds.
As of press time, details of his arrest in Benin City, Edo State, were sketchy. Meantime, images and visuals surfaced on social media, showing Abure seated on the floor before he was whisked away in a vehicle by the operatives of the Nigerian policemen.
