BREAKING: Iran Reopens Strait of Hormuz Following Ceasefire Deal

—

Iran has announced the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to commercial vessels following a ceasefire linked to tensions involving Lebanon, Israel, and the United States.

The move came shortly after Donald Trump revealed that Lebanon and Israel had agreed to halt hostilities, aligning with an earlier ceasefire arrangement between Iran and the U.S.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, confirmed that the vital shipping route is now fully accessible for commercial traffic during the truce, with vessels required to follow designated routes.

The Strait, a key global oil transit corridor, had experienced disruptions amid rising tensions. Its reopening is expected to temporarily stabilize global energy supply and maritime trade.
