Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has officially resigned as President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), bringing his tenure at the helm of Nigerian football to an abrupt end.
Gusau announced his decision in Abuja on Thursday, saying it followed consultations with his family, friends and key stakeholders.
“I have decided to resign my position. I have also advised my board members to resign,” he stated.
His resignation is expected to trigger a fresh leadership process within the NFF, potentially ushering in a new direction for the administration of Nigerian football.
