Suspected gunmen have reportedly kidnapped at least 16 people in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja, in the early hours of Friday.
Sources said the attackers stormed the community during the early morning hours and abducted several residents, including the wife of a local vigilante member and four children belonging to a pastor.
The incident has thrown residents of Kubwa into panic as families and neighbours struggle to confirm the identities and number of those taken away by the gunmen.
Security operatives are yet to release an official statement regarding the attack as of the time of filing this report.
