In the United States, 911 emergency services have been disrupted in several states, including Alaska, Arizona, Indiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Ohio.
The London Stock Exchange is facing operational challenges due to the outage, while Sky News has gone off the air.
The disruption extends to Australia, where companies are experiencing massive technical outages.
Supermarkets and retailers in both Australia and the UK are reporting mass disruptions.
Several international airlines, including American Airlines, Delta, and United, have grounded all flights.
Berlin airport has suspended flights, and significant disruptions are reported at some Australian airports and Amsterdam airport.
Additionally, Hong Kong airport has switched to manual check-in procedures due to the outage.
Israel’s central bank has announced that the global outage is impacting banks, and the UK’s largest rail operator is facing widespread issues.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has grounded flights from several major carriers, including Delta, United, and American Airlines.
The root cause of these disruptions is reportedly linked to a problem at the global cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.
Australia’s government has called for an emergency meeting to address the situation, highlighting the severe impact on payment systems and other critical infrastructure.
