Former Inspector-General of Police and ex-APC governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu has formally resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), after submitting his resignation letter at his ward.
Adamu’s exit comes amid growing concerns over the party’s internal processes, which he said no longer reflect grassroots will or democratic fairness.
Explaining his decision, he pointed to recent developments within the party, particularly the conduct of its primaries, which he described as deeply troubling.
“Recent developments in the party, especially the conduct of the party primaries, has made it difficult for me to continue to stay in the party,” he said.
