A bomb explosion on Wednesday evening occurred inside a mosque at Custom area in Maiduguri, Borno State causing panic among worshippers and residents in the area.
As of the time of filing this report, the number of casualties has not been confirmed.
Security operatives and emergency responders were said to have rushed to the scene shortly after the blast to secure the area and attend to possible victims.
