Out of the 63 vehicles, 30 were given to the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), 16 to the Rapid Response and Anti-Social Vices squad, 10 to paramilitary groups, six to hunters, and one to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

During the handover, Governor Zulum said the support is part of his government’s plan to strengthen security in the state.

He promised to continue providing equipment and help to the military, police, and other security agencies to keep the state safe from insurgency.

Zulum also thanked President Bola Tinubu, military leaders, and security officers for their efforts in the fight against terrorism.

He noted that since 2019, his administration has continued to supply vehicles to support security operations in Borno State.
