Boko Haram Attack Foiled as Soldiers Stop Suicide Bomber in Borno

A suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber has attempted to attack an Army base in Borno State after ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the military facility.
The attacker was reportedly neutralised by soldiers before he could detonate the explosives, preventing what could have been a major attack on the base.
 
Security personnel have since secured the area and commenced further checks to ensure there are no additional threats.
