Bill Gates to Visit Nigeria for Development Talks

—

Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is set to visit Nigeria on Tuesday.
The purpose of his visit is to discuss solutions to some of the major development challenges in the country, including health, agriculture, and poverty.
Gates will also focus on ways to improve nutrition in Africa.
During his visit, Gates will meet with government officials, youth, and various partners to explore these issues.
He is also expected to have discussions with experts in primary health care, agriculture, and nutrition, who are working hard to make progress despite economic difficulties across the continent.
In addition, Gates will take part in a virtual Pan-African dialogue on tackling malnutrition.
He will be joined by musician Jon Batiste for this event.
Since 2000, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has been working with institutions, governments, and communities in 49 African countries, providing funding and scientific support.
The foundation has pledged over $7 billion through 2026 to fight hunger, disease, gender inequality, and poverty across Africa.
