‘Big Brother Should Be Re-evaluated’ – Nneka Isaac Moses

Goge Africa requests that BBNaija take into account sustaining the country’s moral and cultural traditions in later seasons.

A tourist and cultural media company called Goge Africa on Tuesday urged parents to make sure their children follow the age restrictions set by the Big Brother Naija Reality Show’s organizers.

The counsel was given by Nneka Isaac-Moses, managing director of Goge Africa, in a Lagos interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

As specified by the show’s producers, she claimed, viewers under the age of 18 were not permitted to watch.

According to Isaac-Moses, parents should be aware that every television program has an intended audience and avoid letting their kids watch programs that weren’t made for them.

She did, however, advise the show’s organizers to think about sustaining the country’s moral and cultural traditions in subsequent seasons.

“In as much as the reality show educates the adults which the show is designed for, some of its contents erode our moral and cultural values. This is the reason parents must be observant and monitor what their children watch.

“Though we are in the jet age when children can manipulate computers and televisions, it still behooves the parents to monitor their wards,”

BBN Double Eviction

Nneka Isaac-Moses stated that she was very happy about the show’s increased popularity and commercial value for neighborhood businesses, the housemates, and everyone else involved in the full production value chain.

Nonetheless, she gave the Federal Government sound advice to consider national orientation, cultural, and moral values seriously as this would also affect the program. She asserts that these form the cornerstone of a rational and well-organized society.

“In subsequent editions of the show, the organizers should intensify efforts in showcasing more programmes promoting our culture and morals. The housemates should be made to explore their cultures and educate the audience on the peculiarities and beauty of each culture.

“Deliberate efforts could also be made to exhibit our unique culinary culture, dance and all,”

Her arguments are persuasive, and many people agree with her because the show affects everyone in general, children in particular.
