Big Brother Naija star Adekunle has confirmed that he and his fellow contestant, Venita Akpofure, have broken up.
Adekunle and Venita were close during the All Stars edition of the reality show last year.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Adekunle explained that their relationship ended after the show.
“We were in a relationship in the Big Brother house, but I wouldn’t call it love—it was more than just an understanding,”
“It was real while we were in the house,” Adekunle said.
He added that they discussed their relationship after the show but decided to go their separate ways. Out of respect for Venita, he did not share the details of their conversation.
Adekunle also mentioned that they no longer speak to each other, “I don’t talk to her anymore because we don’t have a relationship. We don’t communicate. A lot of bad things happened, and I won’t share them here out of respect for her,” he said.
