American singer Beyoncé surprised everyone at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on NBC Friday night by introducing several American athletes.
She wore a red, white, and blue outfit, including a ‘USA’ leotard, a flowing cape, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat.

“Take a look at America, everyone,” Beyoncé said as her song ‘Ya Ya’ from her latest album, ‘Cowboy Carter,’ played in the background.
“These hopes and dreams, these superstars represent us. The people of our big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation. We’re all cheering for them together.”

She mentioned some team members: Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, Caeleb Dressel, and Katie Ledecky.
“That pride and joy? That’s what makes me believe in this team. I can’t wait to see what they accomplish over the next 16 days. America, let’s support Team U.S.A., the best of who we are. What a sight to see. What a team to believe in. What a night to celebrate,” she added.
Beyoncé’s appearance and heartfelt words excited and inspired the audience, setting a hopeful tone for the games ahead.
