Beyoncé Supports Kamala Harris’s Campaign with “Freedom” Song

American music superstar Beyoncé has given her approval for Kamala Harris’s campaign to use her song “Freedom” as its official tune.

A source close to Harris told CNN that Beyoncé, who is known for having strict rules about how her music is used, quickly approved the campaign’s request to use “Freedom.”

This approval came on Monday, just hours before Harris walked out to the song at an event. Beyoncé’s quick response was notable given her usual careful control over her music’s use.

In related news, President Joe Biden has announced that he will not run for re-election in the 2024 presidential race. Biden withdrew from the race on Sunday, citing increasing pressure from Democratic colleagues, top donors, and Hollywood stars.

This pressure intensified after Biden’s poor performance in a debate last month, which raised concerns about his ability to lead the party to victory in the upcoming election.

With Biden stepping aside, the Democratic Party will now look to other potential candidates, including Vice President Kamala Harris, to lead the charge in the 2024 election.

Harris’s campaign, already gaining momentum with high-profile endorsements and support, aims to build on this new development with the energizing use of Beyoncé’s powerful song “Freedom.”
