American superstar Beyoncé says she no longer cares about charts and commercial success.

The 42-year-old singer explained that “growth” has changed how she sees musical success.

Beyoncé recently released a country music album called ‘Cowboy Carter’ and is thankful for its great success, saying it has changed her life.

“There was a time when charts and sales excited and motivated me,” Beyoncé told The Hollywood Reporter. “But after putting all my life, pain, growth, and dreams into my art, I can’t go back.”

“I’m very grateful and humbled by the extraordinary success of the new album,” she added.
