BBNaija Season 11 Begins as 24 Housemates Battle for N160m Grand Prize

Big Brother Naija officially kicked off its 11th season on Sunday night with the unveiling of 24 housemates set to compete for the coveted N160 million grand prize.

The new contestants, drawn from different parts of Nigeria and beyond, made their first appearance during a colourful opening live show, each bringing distinct personalities, life experiences and ambitions into the iconic BBNaija House.

Hosted by media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the premiere featured electrifying performances, dazzling stage displays and the highly anticipated introduction of the housemates to millions of viewers across Africa.

Since its debut in 2006 and revival in 2017, the show has served as a launchpad for many stars in the entertainment industry, with former housemates building successful careers in acting, music, broadcasting, entrepreneurship and digital content creation.

Beyond entertainment, BBNaija has continued to boost Nigeria’s creative economy by driving content production, creating jobs, attracting major brand partnerships and sustaining massive audience engagement.
