A group of people from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, who call themselves the New Dawn Organization, got in trouble for saying bad things about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

They accused him of making the APC lose the Governorship seat in Bauchi State to the opposition in court, and also of not caring about APC members in the state.

But the leaders of the APC in Bauchi State said this is not the position of the party in the state.

They had a meeting and talked to the press to say that they don’t support the New Dawn Organization or what they said.

Saadu Umar, who is in charge of talking to the media for the APC in Bauchi State, explained that they don’t agree with the accusations made by the New Dawn Organization.

He said, “We don’t believe that President Tinubu and others have abandoned us. They support us, and that’s it.”

He also said that they don’t agree with the New Dawn Organization’s claim that APC leaders didn’t take Bauchi State seriously.

They also said that the New Dawn Organization doesn’t really represent the APC in Bauchi State.

They mentioned a person named Orlando who used to be part of the APC but left in 2019 to join the opposition.

They said Orlando is not an important member of the APC anymore, so he can’t speak for them.

The APC leaders in Bauchi State said that Orlando and the New Dawn Organization should apologize for what they said.

“We urge Orlando and his New Dawn Organization to apologize and retract the unfounded allegations and insults leveled against the APC leadership, federal government, President Bola Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima.”

They think it was wrong to insult President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, and other APC leaders.

They also denied the New Dawn Organization’s claims that APC polling agents weren’t paid for their work during elections. They said all the agents were paid properly.

The APC leaders reminded everyone, including Orlando, that they shouldn’t say things that make the party look bad. They said accusing and insulting party leaders without proof could get them in trouble.
