The Federal government Conditional Cash Transfer Programme in collaboration with Bauchi State Social Investment Programme has flagged off a two-day investment enrolment training for 162 local government desk officers and cash transfer facilitators on community mobilization and sensitization.

Declaring the training open, the State Focal person of the social investment programme, Hajiya Amina Katagum, charged the participants to conduct themselves with decorum to achieve the desired results after the training.

She said that the exercise which is organized for 162 local government desk officers and cash transfer facilitators from 14 local government areas of the state is aimed at stepping down the knowledge of the poor and vulnerable in the community, adding that the state government has recently enrolled 18,006 beneficiaries for a monthly stipend of N5,000 under the scheme.

While calling on the participants to give adequate attention to caregivers in the process, the State Focal Person urged them to observe strict adherence to NCDC guidelines to avoid contracting Coronavirus.

In a remark, the National Enrollment Officer of the programme Mr Adams Aliyu said that the data collected from the poor and vulnerable communities will be captured in the national beneficiaries register after ranking between one to six position.
