Barcelona Football Club has revealed that three of its senior players, Marcus Alonso, João Cancelo, and João Félix, have departed the club this summer following the expiration of their contracts with the Blaugrana.

While all of these updates were made on their social media pages, the club has deleted the update regarding João Félix.

Félix, 24, who is currently in the Portuguese camp in Germany for the 2024 Euros, moved to Barcelona last year from Atlético Madrid on loan, where he had an impressive season, netting ten goals and providing six assists in his 44 appearances.

Cancelo, who is also with Portugal in the current Euros tournament, moved to Barcelona on loan from Manchester City last year. He represented Barcelona 42 times, contributing 9 goals.

The announcement of Marcus Alonso’s departure was made following his two-season spell at Barcelona, having joined the club as a free agent from Chelsea Football Club. Alonso has struggled since his move, making only 8 appearances this season and 45 in total.

Previously, the club had announced that Sergino Dest has agreed to terms with PSV.
