The Caretaker Chairman (CTC) of Kabba/Bunu local government area in Kogi State, Barrister Zacchaeus Dare Michael, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The incident occurred around 6 PM on Friday.
Along with him, some of his aides were also abducted. The kidnapping took place at the security building initiated by Barr. Michael along the Kogi State University Kabba-Okene road.
The Owe Political Platform, in a message confirming the incident, stated that the Caretaker Chairman and some of his aides, including Bank Andrew, were kidnapped by gunmen.
The platform’s administrators have appealed to all members to join in prayer for the safe release of the abducted individuals without harm.
They also urged anyone with credible information that could assist in the rescue to contact the police. “May God show His face and touch the hearts of those responsible,” they added.
