The Police Service Commission has announced the approval and release of a list of 10,000 successful applicants for recruitment into the constable and specialist cadres of the Nigeria Police Force. The commission stated that to ensure fairness and justice in the recruitment process, it worked with guidance from relevant stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the National Assembly, and the Federal Character Commission. The Nigeria Labour Congress says its strike action will continue today June 4.  In a post shared on its X handle, the organized Labour union noted that the strike action continues until it hears from its organs at their proposed meetings scheduled for today 4th June. Recall that on Monday, June 3, the labour unions grounded economic activities nationwide to demand an increase in the minimum wage.
