Atiku Receives ADC Receipt After N90m Presidential Form Payment

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has confirmed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid N90 million for his presidential nomination form to contest the 2027 election under the party’s platform.
In an official statement posted on its X account on Saturday, the party disclosed that Atiku had received his payment receipt after completing the transaction.
The receipt, identified as Official Receipt No. 2881 and dated May 8, 2026, reportedly confirms a N90 million payment made via bank draft for the presidential form.
The ADC described the development as a major step in what it called a “new chapter” in Nigeria’s democratic journey, saying Atiku’s move reflects a growing momentum for national renewal, democratic inclusion, and people-driven leadership within the party.
According to the party, the formal presentation of Atiku’s nomination forms is expected to take place on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja.
The ADC also reiterated its commitment to offering Nigerians an alternative political platform focused on unity, economic recovery, security, and national progress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
