Arsenal Winger Bukayo Saka Proposes to Tolami Benson in London

Arsenal and the England national team winger Bukayo Saka, is said to have proposed to his long-term partner, Tolami Benson, following five years together.

According to insiders via Goal, Saka arranged a private evening at a luxury hotel in London where he presented Benson with what has been described as an “absolutely enormous” engagement ring. He went “all out” and the gesture reportedly left Benson “blown away.”

Benson, also 24, is of Afro-British descent and grew up in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. She works as a senior planning executive in London and is sometimes described as a model or social-media personality with a decent following. She studied Public Relations and Media.

The two are believed to have started dating around 2020 but maintained a low profile for several years, rarely appearing together publicly or on social media. Their relationship became more visible when Benson was spotted supporting Saka at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar from the stands alongside other girlfriends and partners of footballers.

Since then she has regularly attended his matches, including national team fixtures such as Euro 2024, sometimes wearing subtle references to Saka’s career (for instance, a jacket bearing the number “87,” the first squad number he wore at Arsenal).

Public “moments” have been rare but memorable: for example, after an England match against Slovenia in June 2025 they were reportedly photographed sharing a pitch-side kiss.

At present, none of the two has issued an official statement confirming the engagement.
