Arsenal To Sack Arteta If He Fails To Win Trophies

—

Fresh reports from Spain claim Mikel Arteta could face an uncertain future at Arsenal FC if the club ends the season without winning either the Premier League or Champions League.

The Gunners were once seen as contenders for multiple trophies, but hopes of a historic campaign have faded after exits from domestic cup competitions. A recent home defeat to Bournemouth has also added pressure in the title race, giving rivals Manchester City renewed belief.

Having led distinct improvement in Arsenal’s style and competitiveness, Arteta is currently in his sixth full year at the helm. Still, questions remain about whether that advancement must be matched with silverware.

While rumors about management changes are increasing, no official decision has been announced; therefore, Arsenal remain fully focused on their league run and European target.

Spanish sources also name former club captain Cesc Fabregas as a candidate to replace if a change is deemed necessary. Following his excellent performance in North London, supporters continue to regard Fabregas highly.

Adding drama, a Ugandan fan drew online attention after threatening legal action over the Bournemouth loss, arguing that the result caused emotional suffering.

Arsenal’s season may still be defined by success, but the coming weeks will be especially important for both the team and its coach.
