Armed bandits kill woman as she tried to escape abduction in Benue

Martha Kwaghdoo Anderson, an engineer, tragically lost her life to armed bandits while attempting to escape kidnapping on the Makurdi-Naka Road in Benue State. 

The incident occurred on the evening of December 28, 2023, an unfortunate reminder of the persistent danger on the Naka/Makurdi Road, known for its frequent kidnappings.

Motorists have attributed the high incidence of abductions on this federal highway to the deplorable condition of the road.
