Armed bandits have raided Anguwar Tudu in Azzara village, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State killing a soldier and abducting three of his family members alongside eight others
Confirming the attack on Thursday, December 7, 2023, a resident of the village, Danjuma Saleh, revealed that the bandits wielding AK-47 rifles and riding on motorcycles, stormed the community last Saturday, at about 11pm.
Danjuma stated that the bandits initially attacked the house of one Alhaji Shafiu and abducted him alongside his wife and a child. He however said that the bandits later freed the woman but took the husband away.
He stated that the soldier who came from Minna, Niger State, to visit his relatives at the village eventually met his death in the hands of the terrorists.
“The bandits’ leader opened fire and killed the soldier after they tried to whisk him away alongside the others, as the soldier refused to cooperate with them,” he added.
It was gathered that, the remains of the deceased were later taken to Minna after police ‘visitation to the scene of the incident.
