American pop star Ariana Grande has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s candidate for the upcoming presidential election.
This happened after President Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic candidate on Sunday and supported Harris to take his place.
Grande shared a picture of Biden and Harris on her Instagram story, urging her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party. She captioned the photo with “Register to vote.”
According to The Hill, Kamala Harris has already secured more than a quarter of the delegates needed to win the Democratic Presidential nomination.
Meanwhile, former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump has said that he believes Kamala Harris would be easier to defeat in the November election than Biden. In a Sunday night interview with CNN, Trump welcomed Biden’s withdrawal from the race.
