Apple Temporarily Stops Advertising On X As Elon Musk Approves Hate Speech

Apple has decided to temporarily stop showing ads on X formerly Twitter.
This is due to the ongoing hate speech especially against Jewish people which is called Antisemitism.
Other companies like IBM and the European Commission have also stopped their ads on X.
A group called the Center for Countering Digital Hate found that X did not do enough to stop hate speech on their platform.
They found posts that said bad things about Jewish people, praised Hitler, and were mean to Muslims and Palestinians.
The owner of X, Elon Musk, did not remove these posts and even supported some of these bad ideas.
There was another report from Media Matters for America that showed ads from big companies like Apple, IBM, Bravo, Oracle, and Xfinity appearing next to posts that praised Nazi ideas.
X’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, tried to tell advertisers that X is against discrimination and hate speech, but advertisers are still worried because of what’s been happening.
X’s advertising business has been up and down since Elon Musk took over the platform.
He said Apple was not advertising much, but later, he seemed to sort out things with Apple’s CEO.
Then they made deals with other companies to help make sure ads didn’t appear next to bad content.
But Musk’s actions are still making advertisers worried.
While Musk keeps talking about bad ideas, the White House said it is wrong to promote hate against Jewish people and any racist ideas.
They strongly condemned this kind of behaviour.
